photoStacey DeWolfe is a freelance writer, teacher and musician who makes her home in Montreal, Canada. She holds one undergraduate degree in English and one in film production, as well as a masters degree in film studies.

Stacey has written about food, culture and art for the Montreal Mirror, C Magazine, Akimbo, Mutekmag and Cult MTL.

Stacey drums for Montreal bands, Lion Farm, whose EP, Bells of the Fallen is available online, and The World Provider, whose latest album, History of Pain, was released in September 2011.

She is also the author of Sound Affects: Sado-Masochism and Sensation in Lars von Trier’s Breaking the Waves and Dancer in the Dark.
